Field Service Technician, Dublin North, €19ph

My Client, who’s made a massive positive impact on helping the environment to be a safer place is looking for new candidate to join their Service Team. This line of work will require a certain level of technician with mechanical experience. Working as part of a team in servicing oil/water pumps and other mechanical equipment. Each day will offer new challenges. Typically some days may involve clean up and remediation after spill incidents. It can be simple containment, recovery and mop up of spilt product or remediating contaminated sites which in itself involves some basic construction type work involving digging out and replacement of contaminated soil.

As a service technician your job will be to assist crews in carrying out maintenance, servicing and repair activities. Once again roles would vary daily from basic operative, a technician type role doing the inspections, up to a crew leader type role leading a 2 or 3 man team.

Full training is provided, and for those who want to advance their careers, the opportunity is there. We can always use people with the motivation and drive that, on learning the basics, will be keen to take on a higher level role as technician, crew leader or supervisor and carry out a fuller role or oversee the work of a crew or team.
